Will develop a software of earth simulator system unifying parallel programming language, parallel OS, parallel visualization and other processing tools in an integrated software system to simulate the phenomena and changes occurred on the earth global system.

Will develop parallel and basic mathematics libraries for numeric and parallelize nuclear engineering codes.

• Other Accomplishments

In accordance with advance of advanced parallel computers, super parallel computers and so on, will develop technologies of parallel programming, numerical experiments, parallel processing tools and parallel algorithm, and assess the effects of developed application system, in cooperation with other institutes and organizations.

Besides the above, RIST Tokyo is putting special emphasis on the inbound and outbound research activities such as conferences, symposiums and workshops as international basis through which we carry on survey and study of the outbound activities of high criteria in the related field.
